Tina is one of the nicest and talented casting directors I know,” says Talent Manager Don Gibble.

From humble beginnings in Salt Lake City, Utah,, her first forays into the world of working with Talent were in high school drama.  Her high school involvement with drama, stage crew and the Thespian Club evolved over the years into working as an independent casting director.  Says Tina, “I love working with Talent – they’re the people that make the world go round – I love to experience them in their greatness.”  In her debut as a caster, she has already cast full length features, commercials, music videos, shorts, webisodes and done other promotional casting.  Her most recent film, An Evening with My Comatose Mother, has won several awards in film festivals, including Best Actress and Best Supporting Roll.  She works with a large range of cast sizes and very diverse Talent as well.

Not just content to figure out the casting business for herself, she is also the proud founder of Applebox Filmmakers Alliance, a business dedicated to training independent film makers in the business of film.  Her business is an extension of her personality:  she desires all around her to be successful.  Currently, Applebox conducts training through seminars, though this will eventually be offered as lessons through the website, www.appleboxfilmmakers.com.

Working with Tina was an absolute pleasure, “says Producer/Director Jonathan Martin.  “ I will always have her involved with the casting of my projects in the future.”  Why?  You might call her an extreme networker with the kind of communication skills and professionalism to infiltrate even the most exclusive groups.  Perhaps the answer to “Why?” is observable as she uses her background in Event Planning, Travel and Tourism to streamline the casting experience for those who work with her.  Her organized approach to project execution leaves no details floundering.    With her, there is no problem that can’t be solved with a little creativity and hard work – the work must be done.  Period.  If you want it done, ask Tina. . .then sit back and enjoy the results.
